About Anneli

I don't want to add to the noise.

There's already plenty of people online telling you what to eat, how to think, and which morning routine will change your life. Most of them mean well. Some of them have very little actual experience to back it up. I spent over thirty five years as a critical care nurse and I've seen what happens to real bodies in real crisis. I'm not interested in pretending that's the same thing as a wellness certification.

I'm Finnish by background — I moved to Canada when I was six — and I grew up in a culture that doesn't do small talk or fake positivity. If something is hard, it's hard. You don't dress it up.

My life has had a lot of hard chapters. Alzheimer's took my mother and her sisters. I've loved people through things that don't have easy endings. I know what it's like to keep going when nothing is resolved and there's no tidy finish line in sight.

I share what I'm actually going through. Not what I think you want to hear. Not advice dressed up as inspiration. Just what's true, what's helping, and sometimes what isn't.

If that sounds like something you need — you're in the right place.
